Leavo vs Personio
Personio: A European HR platform where absence management is one feature of a full HRIS. Leavo: leave, time and shifts in one platform, free under nine. Here is how they line up on what you pay, what you get, and who each one actually suits.
Pick Personio if you need an HRIS — digital personnel files, onboarding, reporting, payroll preparation — not a leave tracker. Pick Leavo if leave is the problem you are actually solving, and you do not want to buy an HR suite to fix it, or if you want time tracking and shift planning included rather than bolted on. Neither runs payroll.

What this comparison can and cannot tell you
Everything above comes from the two vendors’ published pricing and product documentation. It tells you what each product is designed to do and what it costs. It does not tell you how either behaves over a year with a real team — whether a carryover cap fires on the right date, or what the audit log records after a policy edit. Our Leavo review lists exactly what has and has not been verified and publishes the test protocol.
